In collaboration with the Arvada Center, Romance in the Rockies was a signature event for Jefferson County Public Library, which included a panel of local romance writers and a presentation by New York Times bestselling author Robyn Carr.
I was asked to design all advertising collateral for the event and started with a banner displayed outside of our libraries. The design reflected Robyn Carr's book covers and the romance genre, but I tried to balance out the pinks with a light blue in the sky, darker burgundy, and deep purple.
Instead of our usual flyer that patrons could pick up inside the libraries, we gave out chocolates with the event's information.
This event required multiple graphics made in a timely matter. I designed web and social media graphics, flyers, a multi-page program, electronic signage, live stream graphics, and an advertisement in Connect magazine, a Jefferson County Public library publication. I created easel and sandwich board signs, wayfaring signs, author panel nameplates, and vendor signs for the day of the event.
