New and Old

Tonight I tried painting with a bamboo brush for the first time. Also, I am painting with acrylics right now because I agreed to making some commissions in the style of my work from a few years ago.
I never do that. Yes, I take commissions, but I don’t usually revisit work from years ago. I’m always moving on. Trying to find something new that interests me. I guess that is why I keep painting otherwise it would be boring. But, I admit that coming back to paintings that I made three to four years ago is an interesting idea. Not all of the paintings are done yet but I already know that they won’t be the same as the past. I still like it though. I’ll post more images soon.
