Flowering Tree Drawing

This past spring my mother complained that my father took too many photos of trees. This was particularly funny to me at the time, because my sister and I had gone on a walk specifically to take photos of some flowering trees in Des Moines.
Today I finished a drawing of one of these trees. Eventually, I will embed it into encaustic wax.
